Show a time in play status bar
I am using your app for my treadmill runs and have been playing around with different BPM adjustments for different speed intervals. One small improvement to the app would be to show the current play time status of the song being used (so when I'm doing a sprint I know how much time is left until the end of the particular song). Many thanks for your app which makes my running life much happier!

Update iTunes song data
I have a number of smart playlists that update based on whether or not I skip a song, and how recently I've heard a song, such that I'm generally getting fresh songs that (after time) I haven't disliked enough to have skipped. Updating the song metadata would be great.

BPM Limit
Is it possible to increase the BPM limit to 250 or even 300 for special training purposes in highspeed sessions?

Voice controls
It would be lovely if I could at least skip songs by voice control. I can't really fiddle with buttons while running.

Prefer or exclude certain songs
I'd like to be able to "thumbs-up" or "thumbs-down" some tracks so that the ones I like most are played more often and the ones that don't match my running mood can be excluded. I'd also like the option to disable the inclusion of 1/2 tempo songs.

Add integration with other running/fitness apps
This would allow music control by external devices i.e. Watches like Magellan echo, pebble, etc

disable proximity monitoring so the screen doesn't turn off when iPhone is in an armband case
Currently when my phone is in my armband case, the screen turns off very easily when I try to adjust the BPM. Assumption is that this is because of the iPhone's proximity sensor (same one that turns off the screen when you're on the phone). The API is publicly accessible for this sensor - not sure why the app elects to turn the screen off (or maybe this wasn't a conscious decision)?
Happy to help code this in if you guys want even! It makes BPM adjustment while running pretty much impossible for me. Or am I the only person…

Show actual BPM
It'd be great if you could overlay the original BPM for a track vs the current pace on one of the "Playing Screen". Not sure if an apple watch app is feasible to leave the iPhone at home when going for a run!
BTW your app is awesome - only been using it for a few days but I love it already.

Another Comment for Manually Adjust BPM Criteria
It would also be nice to be able to manually tighten the BPM range. I run at a constant tempo. It would be very useful if I could choose songs that were closer to the target. So, if the "bpm band" that Trailmix uses to create a playlist could be manually changed this would be wonderful.
Thanks for considering this and great app!

Activity log
Could see all info at 1 glance/tap if you put Steps & Time in 2 columns on one screen. Save space to do it by titling the columns Steps & Time

Manually adjust BPM criteria.
I'd love it if there was a slider that adjust how "picky" Magic Shuffle is when choosing tracks to match your current pace.
I.e. There are songs on my playlist that are not as close to my regular walking or running pace that I wouldn't mind it playing to me with time compression/stretching. The current selection seems a bit narrow and tends I pick the same songs when I forward after a pace transition. No problem and thats usually how I want it, but it would be nice to be able to manually "loosen" it up a bit to accommodate…
3 votesHi there,
Thanks for the suggestion! This is actually something we added recently, but it’s not especially obvious how to access it. I will consider making this option easier to find in a future version of TrailMix. For now you can press the information button next to magic shuffle at the top of your songs list, then change from Best Match to Variety.
